A true story of Teddy, a small dog with an oversized ego, fierce bark, wiggly tail and who HATES to be left behind. He finagles his way onto a 15-day long pack trip into the Wyoming wilderness. That’s when he realizes he has no clue what a pack trip will demand of him. Can he protect his family from bears and coyotes? Can he cross that terrifying creek, will Chris kick him out of the tent at night because he stinks of the fish guts he rolled in? He has lots to learn. Each chapter offers humor and a new challenge.
Book 2: Teddy the Boss
In the second book, the arrival of two new GIANT puppies throws Teddy’s life into turmoil. He’s determined to show them who’s boss. Can he keep them out of trouble when the family embarks on a challenging pack trip into the Wyoming wilderness?
Book 3: Shorty, a Good Mule, Sometimes
Shorty is a small, handsome mule with a big attitude. Shorty’s job on pack trips is to carry 2 heavy packs. He is expert at following his lead horse and navigating trails, no matter their difficulty. When he's bored, which is often, he finds ways to make life interesting.
